I create a Word Document in 97-2003 format and send it to somebody who then imports it into Greenstreet Publisher. However, if I put 3 dots in a row, like this ... it gets corrupted. Is there a way I can put this into my Word Ducument so that the DTP program will pick it up and not corrupt it ?
The pwk main EXE file keeps stopping to work on Pub 4. How do I resolve this please?

The main issue with the program is that it wasn't developed to work with newer operating systems. In this case, if you have Windows XP, apply a compatibility tweak using Properties > Compatibility > Windows 95/98/2000. For Windows Vista or higher, use Troubleshoot Compatibility to make it work. After applying these tweaks the program should work correctly.
I have been using Greentsreet Publisher since 1998 - I think it was originally called "Pressworks". At present I am on the Gold Edition 4.2. Recently, I upgraded my PC and installed Windows 7 instead of XP Pro. After having installed Publisher my system is not happy with the program and when I try to save amendments to files it sometimes tells me I have not enough free space left - although there is on reality 400gb. It is my favorite DTP program.

Greenstreet Publisher is an application that has compatibility problems with Windows 7. Being old, it doesn't have any compatible patches that can enhance it to make it work in Windows 7, however, there is a way to solve this. You can install VirtualBox then you can set up a virtual machine and install Windows XP. Once you have installed Windows XP, make sure to install the additional VirtualBOX add-ons from Tools > Install VirtualBox Add-ons and then install your application. You'll be running Windows XP virtualized, but at least the application will work normally.

Assuming you're using MS Publisher:
MS Publisher – Font Embedding
In the “Tools” menu, move the mouse pointer down to select “Commercial Printing Tools”, then select “Fonts…” in the little menu that opens to the right of it
The Fonts dialog box will appear. Then:
check “Embed TrueType fonts when saving publication” check “Subset fonts when embedding” UNcheck “Do not embed common system fonts” (if it is checked) 3. Click OK, then save the file. Fonts are now embedded.

In order to open the file you need to have greenstreet Publisher installed on your computer. Since the application has been discontinued, you can try to find it on Amazon, eBay or other similar websites. Also, you need to know that the software can run only on Windows XP and below platforms. Alternatively, you can try opening the files using Desktop Publisher Pro or Publish-it software.
Note: If you have the greenstreet Publisher software installed on your computer and the file is not opening, try reinstalling the application.
Using Power Publisher 4 I can lock and unlock frames. At Power Publisher 4.5 the frames remain either locked or unlocked and I can't find how to control this. How can I do it?

The application doesn't exist anymore. The official website has been discontinued. In this case you have to consult the built-in Help. There has to be something that blocks your actions on locking/unlocking the files.

The program does not run on Windows 8 because it was discontinued by the developer. There is no support at all.
